Did the fix the romance achievement? I cant see a note about it. I went through an entire romance following a guide and the achievement didnt pop.

devil myth path is still the same way to get? Or can you now also get it by playing a angel (fallen angel)

You might want to try romancing Sosiel on an evil Mythic Path. That romance branch is anything but equal partnership. For Galfrey I feel that it would be in her character to want being equal with her partner, rather than to enter into submission. But maybe that's just me.

kinda annoyed there are no real unique relationship dynamics, in kingmaker you could be in a throuple or have harem of teifling twins. they upgraded alot of stuff compared to kingmaker but think they held themselves back in other places, doesnt help that baldurs gate 3 has ascended astarion giving you full slave treatment if you in a relationship

It's a shame that it bombed financially. It was definitely clunky af but the story and the worldbuilding was so good

So, before I watch this... as a gamer who focuses on narrative, would you say this redeems Devil's weaknesses, or at least the non-mechanical parts? Is devil worth a playthrough now? I kind of want to go in blind if it's good, but I don't want to devote a 50ish hour playthrough if devil is still a 'meh' path narratively.

I completely agree with your end statement there. Especially regarding evil characters, I think the game should allow me to live out a harem fantasy if that's my choice. The morality of woke 2020's monogamous equality doesn't need to present itself in every scenario. "MWAHAHAHAH I'm going to destroy the whole world and let demons boil people alive! But you are the one woman for me and I desire nothing else. "

Shame you're not continuing with your Lets play. I was actually quite enjoying it, although I think I started late compared to when you started the walkthrough. I thought you went with Wendaug though? My only real disappointment with the mythic path is that I don't end up looking like Mephisto, or even having working wings that don't look sort of stuck on (I get that is a limitation of the engine though). I like how this quest has me actually form contract with someone. I'm ok with the fight not being super difficult, at that point you just had a ridiculous Diplomatic checks to even become a Devil in the first place (unless they nerfed that and made it easier).

Thanks for posting this. I always felt the Devil path was a slow burn without much payoff, this definitely helps. I'm guessing Devil was a stretch goal or something and was a bit shoehorned into the original release. I kind of disagree with one thing Asmodeus says....Galfey's soul being "innocent." Galfrey is pretty rife with petty jealousy and envy, arrogance and carelessness. Yes, even the best souls have their faults but Lord....Galfrey's are LEGION. As many have pointed out, her tactical stupidity makes what Staunton did pale in comparison, and he got 80 years in the condemned until it broke him. She'll be a great fit for Hell!

The only way Pathfinder/Paizo would allow you to treat your romantic partner as a minion would be if the main was a female and the minion was a man. Or if it is Larian, the main would have to be a grizzly bear. Gotta swing that pendulum hard the other way folks!

I liked this quest and wished there were more like it throughout all paths. Demons should be able to persuade/intimidate other demons to your service, resurrect enemies as a lich to send them to do battle, and so on. The romance options for evil playthroughs are something I can agree with, but I understand why Owlcat wouldn't do so. It is a vast amount of work not just to make but also to implement the options. Would these options only be available to certain mythic paths, or would choosing those paths result in the romance automatically taking this path. I get the frustration with the constant emphasis on being equals, considering all but one romance keeps hammering on this. It's understandable, considering that throughout the game, your status, power, and emotional stability change from being equal or below to above any of your companions. Wenuag recognizes you as a master from the beginning, where she serves you for position and power; if useless, she'll be discarded. Sosiel is naive, relying entirely on you for emotional support and depending on your power to find his brother. Lann is short-lived, entirely at your mercy in all three, and feels he will be discarded once you lose interest. Daeran has been put under you as a superior, has a most inside him that you free him from, and is vastly more powerful; he fears loving because you might grow bored of him and destroy him like nocticula did her former lover. Arueshala is the same, needing help overcoming her demonic nature. I think them needing affirmation would be warranted as you change a great deal and thus get more options for partners. I still wish that if you're already affirmed them you wouldn't need to do so again as a commander has chosen them and continues to show interest regardless of their changes. I do want those evil options though, but can understand why they didn't do so.

Social Media would come down on Owlcat with the force of a thousand suns if they allows for the type of relationship you describe in any of the Evil paths. It's unfortunately just the reality of the present day, you simply cannot tell certain kinds of stories without fearing a backlash. Many seem to have difficulty separating fiction from RL.

I dont blame owlcat for not including slave master relationships. It would cause uneccery aggression from the useall moral busy bodies.

Give me the option to be a non santioned Psyker from level one.

With anyone else it might seem weird for them to heel turn so quickly but with Galfrey it seems completely in character with how much of a butthead she is after betraying the commander. I also get what you're saying about the equal partner romance thing. I think Owlcat is afraid (or unwilling) to write something like that in today's hypersensitive society. You can kill innocents, commit all kinds of atrocities, but being domineering in a fictional relationship is crossing a line.

Hurts to watch this as I'm on my angel playthrough, romancing Galfrey, but it's great to see the content and such an alternate path. As always, great vid, Slandered. Love your voice acting for Mephi.

This is very good news, hopefully it will make the game more interesting and successful permitting them to create many more Crpgs.

The post launch updates for this game have been pretty disappointing, especially the separate dlc adventures. Hope they dont mess up with rogue trader

About "evil" romances - u can do abusive relationships with Sosiel, force him to sex and choke him to submit. Its really look like: -Romance music *played* -Please... daddy... harder...
